Hellos and welcome! My name is Praveen Kharb and this is my personal website. It is in the making and it will be some time before I can call it presentable. With a very diverse background, from being a technical nerd to serving in uniform and now into IT consulting, this website is intended to quench my desire to own a place on the worldwide web. More about who I am and why I am here later.
What's being offered if you do not know me personally? Although personal information is posted here, there is more of it that is generic in nature meant to be of some use to you - hoping that my past experiences with places, people, travels, products and services, views and reviews could help you make a decision. Your views and feedback are most welcome. You may submit your feedback using the feedback link at the bottom of this page.
How is this website laid out? The 'about me!' link is self explanatory. 'tidbits' talks of make-do simple solutions and tidbits of information that have .....more coming up!
The only resource constraint I face is that of Time and that's the reason the development on this site is so slow. I have just returned from a trip to one of the most beautiful places on this planet - have a look at the pics and guess yourself (use the Valley link on the right).

The picture on the left is from a place called Khilanmarg, which is part of Gulmarg in the Kashmir Valley. The snow is remnant of last winters and attracts tourists visiting Gulmarg.
On a closer look you would hardly call this dirty patch of snow attractive, but a walk in the paper birch forest you see in the right of the picture will leave you breathless. It is untouched and stunningly beautiful. You can see a photograph of this here (the ground is covered with beautiful wild flowers).
The guy in the picture, with a jacket on, is Shaukat Ali. A 21 year old friendly local who makes a living out of renting out Skis to tourists. |

Have you heard of W3Schools? Authored by Hege Refsnes, Ståle Refsnes and Jan Egil Refsnes this site hosts one of the best sets of tutorials and references related to web development. It is one of the most resouceful sites for beginners venturing in web developmenton the web. Three cheers for these three heroes of the Internet
